Watch classic films ranging from witty comedies to animated classic on the Big Screen every Friday at 6pm starting September 15 through October 27. Grab a seat or bring your own blanket and watch your favorite classics on the Big Screen on the Public Square and Gardens. Stop by Verano for some chips and guac or tacos to go! Wells Fargo customers receive priority seating during all movie nights with complimentary blankets available on select movie nights (9/15, 10/13, & 10/27). Joey Curreri – trumpet Adam Lamoureux – tenor saxophone Yvonne Rogers – piano Rafael Enciso – bass Miguel Russell – drums with Special Guests Nicola Caminiti – alto saxophone Jack Huang – vibraphone Joey Curreri is a trumpeter and composer from Los Angeles, based in New York City. He has performed around the world, playing all over Europe, as well as Japan. Joey has worked as a sideman in NYC, playing at Smalls Jazz Club and the Minton’s Playhouse, and appearing on multiple studio recordings. His music works to use the full breadth and balance of the orchestration of the small group, writing to bring out the personalities of each of each musician in his band. He has three EPs of his music out on Bandcamp, and will be releasing a fourth Live EP on the day of this show.
