Bring your old electronics to donate at our E-Waste Recycling Day on Wednesday, April 16th from 10 am – 2 pm at the Flatiron South Plaza. In partnership with the Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC) and Madison Square Park Conservancy, be a part of this green initiative during Earth Month! During E-Waste Recycling Day, hear from the LESEC’s Curbside Composting Building and Resident Support program, designed to help residential buildings meet the requirements of the city’s mandatory composting initiative. We accept working & non-working computers, monitors, printers/scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, TVs, VCRs & DVD players, phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones & PDAs. We don’t accept batteries (except lead-acid batteries from UPS (uninterrupted power supplies systems), media such as disks, DVDs, VHS taps, or cassette tapes. Joey Curreri – trumpet Adam Lamoureux – tenor saxophone Yvonne Rogers – piano Rafael Enciso – bass Miguel Russell – drums with Special Guests Nicola Caminiti – alto saxophone Jack Huang – vibraphone Joey Curreri is a trumpeter and composer from Los Angeles, based in New York City. He has performed around the world, playing all over Europe, as well as Japan. Joey has worked as a sideman in NYC, playing at Smalls Jazz Club and the Minton’s Playhouse, and appearing on multiple studio recordings. His music works to use the full breadth and balance of the orchestration of the small group, writing to bring out the personalities of each of each musician in his band. He has three EPs of his music out on Bandcamp, and will be releasing a fourth Live EP on the day of this show.
